Women in Farming

We have Rural Women New Zealand groups throughout New Zealand. Each group sets their own programme to suit the interests and learning needs of their members.

Some groups meet for networking and friendship, often supporting their local communities through events or fundraising. Others are focused on education and learning, and facilitate training days and workshops.

Women in Farming

Our Women in Farming groups provide opportunities for women who want to share farming knowledge and develop new farm based skills in a friendly, supportive environment.
Activities

Successful activities in the past have included a range of guest speakers, field trips, hands on training and farm visits on a wide variety of topics:
  • Calf rearing
  • Dog training
