Pink Posh Pot-luck Lunch

Rural Women NZ Kenepuru Branch recently held a ‘President's Pink Posh Pot-luck Lunch’, chaired by Kenepuru branch president Glen Eatwell to raise funds for the NZ Breast Cancer Foundation. Twenty ladies, three men and a baby from Kenepuru Branch, plus four ladies from the Mahakipawa Branch all joined in for the ‘PPPP’ lunch.

Amongst the crowd were also provincial president Melva Robb, national councillor Pam Thomlinson and national president Liz Evans.

The ladies (and men) were dressed in pink, most of the food had a pink connection and it was all washed down with a glass of pink bubbly.

Kenepuru Branch member and winner of the Olive Burdekin writer’s prize, Marion Day gave an entertaining talk about her life and how she became a writer of children's books.

It was a great day and enjoyed by all.
