Rural Women New Zealand is again celebrating rural businesswomen and promoting their achievements through the RWNZ Enterprising Rural Women Award 2012.

From the winners of these three awards, the Supreme Winner of the RWNZ Enterprising Rural Women Award 2012 will be chosen.
Entry Forms and other information
Entries close Friday 16 March 2012. Your entry must include:
• An entry form (download this below)
• A Business Description (maximum 3 types pages - for details see information sheet below)
• A copy of your latest annual accounts. (These will be treated in strictest confidence, and will be returned to you)
• A digital photo of yourself
What’s in it for me?
• The RWNZ Enterprising Rural Women Award 2012 gives you an outstanding opportunity to showcase your business. The Awards attract extensive media coverage.
• All entrants in the RWNZ Enterprising Rural Women Award 2012 will receive a year’s membership of Rural Women New Zealand and will be eligible for a free listing in our online Business Directory.
• The Telecom North Island winner, the Access South Island winner and the FlyBuys Online Business winner will each receive $1,000 in prize money and a trophy, which will be presented at the RWNZ National Conference in Hawera, Taranaki in May 2012.
• The RWNZ Enterprising Rural Women Award 2012 Supreme Winner will receive a further $1,000 in
prize money.
Do I qualify?
To be eligible to enter the RWNZ Enterprising Rural Women Award 2012 you must:
• Own and operate a small business (less than 10 full time equivalent staff) and be based in a rural area
• Be an active partner of 50% or more in the business if in a business partnership
• Have owned or operated the business for at least two years as at the date of entry
• Agree to the Conditions of Entry (refer to information sheet below)
Key Dates
16 March 2012 - Entries close
April 2012 - Finalists notified
April/May 2012 - Finalists interviewed by the judges in Wellington
21 May 2011 - Awards Ceremony and announcement of Supreme Winner at the RWNZ National Conference in Hawera, Taranaki
